silver pigeon 3
Took an obscene range pigeon on a driven day last season, it was the last drive of the day and we had not shot a pigeon all day so the keeper said if any body shot a pigeon on the last drive he would give them a bottle of port A pigeon appeared flying down a hedge line that was two guns to my right, the two guns both shot both barrels at it and missed, i got on it and allowed a massive amount of lead and nailed it with the first shot, 32g of 5's through 3/4 choke doing the job. The two guns to my right couldn't believe it and said that the gun on the other side of the hedge must have shot it, when we met up after the drive we spoke to him and he confirmed it was not him, so the port and glory was all mine
kent
My mate was using my .22 on the range, it was grouping quite badly (wind wasn't bad). he suggested all might not be well. Anyway after around 50 within about an inch, i tested it with a five shot group on his target @50yds. "were did your shots go?" he questioned and i showed him a slightly enlarged single bullet hole at the bottom of the target. it all went silent It might not be the best ever but it was the most appropriatly timed shooting i have ever done
