millieminx Posted August 7, 2012 Report Share Posted August 7, 2012 Phoned the farmer on the Wednesday and he said I could shoot the Saturday over a cut field of rape...picked up my mate and turned up nice and early to make the most of our first outing over stubble in 5 years...watched the field for an hour and set up by 8 in a perfect little spot...the birds where about but nothing seemed interested so moved a few things about by 9 we had had one shot to no success then all of a sudden half hour later it started going our way and had 10 down in as many minutes, a few shots later and we where stopped in our tracks as a shogun came tearing across the field....guns down we went to see what the problem was and was confronted by a very angry game keeper asking us who had given us permission! It turns out the farmer hadn't informed him and he had arranged for him and a few guns to shoot Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
