Meadowman
My last chance to get out before a busy month at work. Arrived at my 14 acre permission at 8a.m. Climbed the gate and spotted jackdaws in the paddock. Made my way down slowly, using the barn as cover and slipped inside the stable. From here I get a triple view, the paddock, the orchard and the riding school. Using shadow at the rear of the stable I chose the target and 1 jackdaw down at 20 yards. An hour later a squirrel was making its way through the apple trees nibbling as it went, with the aid of my 'long' 52 and an RWS Superdome the squizzer nibbled no more. Finally after a tea break, through the faded perspex window I saw a grey figure on the drinking trough, moving around a doorway, the woody didn't spot or hear the camo'd silencer puff. Just a short morning visit that I was in two minds to go ot not. Glad I did now.
