Beardo
Just walking the dog and she comes up behind me and I felt wet on my legs, thought she's obviously slobbering. Turned round and her entire head is red with blood, absolutely covered and shes trying to swallow every few seconds as her mouth is full of blood. Ran to the pub which wasn't far and got her to drink, within seconds she was back to normal, had sliced her tongue on something as its lolling around in this heat. Crazy amounts of blood. Anyway they had a new guest beer or which is Nethergate Dr Johns Panacea which I can heartily recommend!

Beardo
Pub was a mile closer than my house so it made sense, and silly to waste an opportunity once I knew she was ok!
sky gipsy
Glad everything was OK in the end. I know how you felt at the time, as my cocker cut his tongue on blackthorn spikes whilst beating a couple of seasons ago... lots & lots of blood, but only for a short time.
