Notts Decoying

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if anyone wants a shooting buddy one day this week. Not got a lot on with work and not got a lot to go at on my permission so thought id ask.

I'v got a SGC and had it for ten years now been decoying ( successfully and not so successfully ) for about 7 years.

Also have insurance with countryside alliance.

Look forward to hearing back from someone.

Can you offer anything back on your permission?

I could do with a bit of rabbit shooting.

might be able to get you a days decoying in return when its worth going out. Also might be able to get some lamping but for some reason recently the rabbit numbers seem to have dropped off. We seem to have a load of fox's about, been shooting there ten years and only seen 4 fox's and then two weeks ago seen 4 in a day. The land owner wants to do all the fox shooting tho.

No one out there fancy a friend for a day?? And im not into stealing peoples permission or anything like that i didn't even know that kind of thing happened untill i read some stuff on another forum. I don't mind bringing a flask of coffee and maybe a bottle of something to say thanks.

Ok having spoken to the farmer today of the permission i shoot he informs me they are combining all the wheat this week. Is there anyone around that might fancy a day with me in the notts are near newark on maybe friday?

this isn't definite as i may have to work. SGC and insurance please. I do have hide poles and decoys etc, but if you have your own gear that would be good and don't mind a dog as long as its well behaved. Please feel free to get intouch. Phil

P.S - there is no guarantee as to how many pigeons you will shoot or see i will try and have a drive around in the next couple of days and see if anything is about and try and pick us a goodish spot.
