Paul223
rafts won't help with otters or mink, electric fence two or three strands right the round will deter otter and fox, traps for mink
Keeperchris
Hi I dont fence or electrify our ponds just have a good clear out of charlie and his mates before hand/during early release. They very quickly become used to the water being a safe haven, not had any otter trouble thank god but if you do get any mink in your area its worth running a few traps. I always strim any open areas near the waters edge for them to get on the banks and sun themselves and this also gives them a little more time to break for the safety of the water should something come after them!!
