I have a two week old Yildiz 20 gauge it’s had about 150 sterling no5 cartridges through it, this gun is a replacement gun for a former Yildiz 20 gauge, while cleaning I have noticed that around the top firing pin there is pitting and also damage to the tip of the firing pin, the firing pin is knocking the firing cap on the cartridge through every now and again, I will be returning the gun tomorrow just wondered what you guys think about this

Thanks for the reply Figgy, fair comment I have known other guns to do this every now and again, but this gun is brand new, the firing pin is damaged, there’s extensive pitting around the port hole for the firing pin , there is also deep scoring on the carrier where the barrels drop open, all this after only 10 days not good and not a good advert for Yildiz, and as said a replacement gun for a 20 gauge Yildiz badly damaged on the carrier from opening the barrels, think maybe Yildiz need to learn how to make a gun properly before putting **** out on the market.
