monkeyboots
would like to ask we have recently got the shooting to a 500 acre bit of land 300 acres is peaty moss/trees ,the rest is surrounding fields mostly rashy and a few good thick hedgrows now now we would like 2 put down a few phseants next year nothing fancy just a few birds to shoot amongst 4 or 5 guns the thing is the mossy/trees part is impossible to walk threw plus its very swampy would it make a fair enough shooting if we where to put the feeders in the rashy fields and just shoot the rashy fields and outskirts of the trees/hedgrows or do you think the birds will dissapear into the trees never to be seen again
scolopax
Once winter comes along the birds will find the feed, put the feeders where you want to find the birds. Sounds as if the wooded area will be a good piece of roosting cover.
