anser2
I niped into my local butchers ( who also sells cartridges ) and saw he had some RCs that i have never seen before. Called RC Atomic Line , steel. A 34 gr load in a 2 3\4 inch case of No 3 shot. Had a few shots and was very impressed with a few high mallard thismorning , good 50 yard shots and both stone dead. Also a long hare again stone dead. Anyone else used these shells?
littlerob
are they high pressure or can they be used in a non steel proof gun
anser2
It says on the box to be used in steel proof guns , but my AYA 3 inch magnum ( non steel proof ) handles them with little recoil. I would not want to put 34gr of steel through a normal 2 3\4 inch game gun. In the past i would have been doubtful about putting such a load through a AYA 3 inch magnum , but there is a guy on this forum who sent his AYA Magnum 3 inch , to the proof house and it came back having passed steel proof for 3 inch steel shells.
