caplock
Hi all couple of pics from the zeroing session with the above combo. Decided on the sweet 17 scope after reading that the elevation turret is calibrated to the drop characteristics of the 17 grain vmax bullet. After zeroing at 100 yards the turret is reset to zero and then the range to be shot is simply dialed in on the top turret. Had to stop at 150 as wind was picking up but hopefully post some pics soon of 200 to 250 groups and see if the turret is accurate. These groups were shot at 14x mag, scope goes up to 18X objective is 40. The parallax adjustment seems accurate too with a nice crisp image coming into view as I wound up through 50, 100, and 150 yards. Seems this is setup with the longer ranges in mind as compared to other scopes I've used which although px adjustable I think were aimed at the airgun market. Scope was brought back from the states by a work collegue for $67, bet they'll be double that if they go on sale here.
