Got my orders in, selling em at a quid a piece for small ones, and 2.50 for large ones... Its great to see other people trying this type of food. ziplex Posted September 20, 2006 Report Share Posted September 20, 2006 Well done that man..........everyone i've convinced to taste pigeon has been pleasantly suprised, in fact they love it mostly, especially my eldest daughter who happens to think the local woodpigeon in the garden is 'lovely' ....she used to think it was cruel, she's not so sure now! Have had a few of the lads at work trying pigeon...................One of the girls who works part time asked what I was doing a pie order for. Told her they were rabbit pies and that I was making them this weekend... She laughed,,,then said, no why are you taking a pie order... Its for rabbits, Im making them... Yeh, your kidding.....what are they..... Why is everyone laughing..................is this a wind up............where do you get them from.... I shoot them............ No you dont,,,,,,,you are having a laugh arent you......its a big wind up isnt it.. No, they really are rabbit pies,,,,,,now do you want one................ Erm...............no thanks...... Don't undersell your pies LL LB 7.50..................................................blimey.................... ...the small pies are about the size of a good sized pork pie.............about 3 inches across and about 1.5 deep. Only problem now,,,,,,,Ive made 4 big pies.........and I have run out of rabbit..........................******..... Will have to put the small orders on hold till I bag a few more...
