chris o
Hi guys well what a night I have had. Whent out tonight to have my first shoot under the moon. Geese everywere canadas and pinks night started good with all the right signs a good stiff wind, broken cloud and the moon. Got gear on and with in minutes of getting soughted and settled the first skien was getting close so called and they were responding well to it. Then about 100 yard away they change there mind. Next skien the same this went on for a hour or so. Then out of no were a skien is well with in range bang bang nothing missed them all so was not best pleased. Then in the distance I could hear that speciel little wistling I longed to hear all season widgeon. So crept up to were I thought they were and up they went again bang first down bang missed after the shots I could see some more lifted quick reload and just in time bang bang and missed again. Then the visibility just whent due to the rain. So called it a night at that but made up and my first widgeon and its a hen so looking forward to eating it.
