Guest HandleBar
Ok, so after by first foray in to ferreting yesterday and with my 10 year old hooked, it's time we thought about working his 2 Jills they're friendly enough pair (unless you're the wife who they find quite tasty as they tend to nip her!) and the gardening training is under way with them running in and out of tubes etc. I have a 15ft Mk1 Deben Ferret finder with one collar so I need another collar, question is do the Mk3 collars work on the Mk1 box? Any advice greatly received Steve (Handlebar)
mad1
No I don't think the mk1 finder( knocker box ) can find a mk3 collar but I think a mk3 finder( orange or grey ) can find mk1 and mk3 collar ? ( I think ??) I know you were out with plenty of people who will give you good advise but two things I was taught years ago was to let the ferret out of the hole and not to grab at it .. And don't gut the rabbits then pick the ferrets up ;-) M1 Edit: I had the collar and receiver the wrong way round !! See vid below ;-) Edited November 19, 2012 by mad1
