rich_morris
Hi All, I am planning to transfer (give) a gun to a relative. But I am not sure how to complete table 2 on MY shotgun certificate. Column B will say 'Given', But I am not sure whos name and address goes in colum D, and who signs Column F... His certificate will get my namd and address, and signature, as the 'giver'. Can anyone help please? Thanks in advance. Rich
JJsDad
You dont put anything on your ticket. It stays on until you put it in for renewal; but you must notify your FEO of the sale / gift with all the details. You complete all the detail on your relatives ticket and he must also notify all details of the transfere. A lot of Police forces will now accept notification by email rather than a registered / recorded mail.
Tod
as above, you fill in table 2 of their certificate, dont do anything with yours, and both notify police
bobt
I usually put a line through the shotgun details, and a note sold to xxx but you must inform the police of the transfer.
