Salop Matt
Am looking at a SxS so I have something for a formal shoot as I only have a semi-auto and pump and they are my preffered tools so am looking to pick up a cheap none ejecting SxS. How ever I want to make sure it looks presentable. To make it look nice I would like to take the stock off and fore peice off and post them to a chap who is very good at stripping and refinishing wood! But this is where am concerned, he isnt a RFD...... Does this matter ? as it will be just 2 peices of wood am sending and not mettal or action parts. While the stock was away I would get the barrels reblued and the action degreased, serviced and inspected before re-oiling ! Any advice would be much appreciated ! Gordon R
They are just bits of wood. The barrels or action would be another story. Hope it goes well. I trust the man who is very good - Straightshooter - because he is very good. :good: :good: Edited December 13, 2012 by Gordon R
