skinner Posted October 6, 2006 Report Share Posted October 6, 2006 can anyone give me some advice,i want to apply for centerfire,do you need to go on any courses?,i have had my fac for just over 1year.i have shot centerfire with the land owner .243 .308 and shoulder bruzeing.375,he told me to put in for .243, but i would rather start of at the bottom and work up to the big stuff.what CF can anyone recomend for beginer?i would like something with plenty of ammo choice and bigger clout than hmr. gibby Posted October 6, 2006 Report Share Posted October 6, 2006 Go straight for the .243, as youve alrady got some experience it will only go in your favour. Ask if the landowner will be willing to supervise you, this will allow you to get your cf cert with relativly few problems, this is the way i did it.
