Big Angus
I'm new to pigeon shooting, out for my second time today. After having a good day's shoot on my first outing, today was a wash out. The morning started out very fine. A few birds dropped, then the wind changed, the rain came and most of all the birds just switched off. can anybody explain why. Was it to do with the wind directional change or the rain coming in as well.
ernyha
Welcome to the site Big Angus, pigeons have normally got more sense than us shooters when it comes to rain. While we are prepared to sit in a hide getting soaked they normally fly off to their dry roosts until it stops.
