adam f
What do you boys recommend as a good hide net for out on the marshes? Ive got a Ghost Stealth net I use for pigeon shooting but its a mix of greens and it stood out like a sore thumb against the rushes and white grass on Sat. My mate uses a desert camo ex army issue which is great but weighs a tonne! Any suggestions?

Wildfowler12
To be honest it's very rare I use one on the marsh, I try to use as much natural cover as possible. That either means kneeling down in a gutter or ducking under the fret edge. When I do take a net I just use a cheap green/brown one. It usually weighs more than the bag on the way off! anser2
Like wildfowler12 Its rare i use a hide on the marsh , there is usualy a creek , long grass or some sueda bush to hids in , however I do use the right colour camo jacket for the marsh background. If I do need a hide then a stealth net , but in straw patten. Beware with stealth nets that if the sun is behind you the birds can see right through it. steve0146
Hi, If 'proper' wildfowling, I dont use a hide, just keep stil and get low. However, if you can use a hide, I use the stealth net in autumn/harvest colours. Add some reeds / grass to the hide pole and it works a treat.
