s4s
The v mach kit works very well as do vortek kits.you should already have a synthetic rear guide fitted.if its not too under powered I would just strip clean ,make a ptfe spring sleve from .50mm relube and refit.if it is underpowered sleve will raise it some.these are sweet shooting .enjoy ya ratting with your howitzer .over kills on the menu.oh just to add if you do kit it out please make sure you debure and polish any edges that potentialy can damage your seal on refit.rws are well finished but I have seen some not so.enjoy. kev56
Thanks for the reply i've got the replacement parts, but i am after a bit of info on taking it apart and actually doing it, i've never stripped down an air rifle before. just wondering if there's any tips to make it easier, i've seen a couple of spring compressors on internet sites but no detail as to the sequence. i'm an engineer by trade so i'm not daunted by tackling it. I need to use an air rifle instead of my shot gun as it's in a sensitive location. Thanks.
s4s
Remove stock retaining bolts .remove side leaver via pins.remove action from stock.use spring compressor unit and a specialty shaped piece of wood against plastic unit at back of trigger unit if its not good fit you could damage it.add pressure enough so as the 2 pins through rear if cylinder will tap out gently or push out once 2 puns out slowly release pressure the trigger init will come out in one guide and spring with it.draw back piston compression sleve so as you can see into breech area.you will see a access hole in face of cylinder tube .use Allen key to remove bolt completely.then pull out connecting block for rod.no tricks .simple to do these.check out dianawerkcollective networt 54 rws 54 trigger tune.theirs a usefully guide on further improvements on t01.and other to improve recoil systerm.
