Hear in sw Scotland its rained all year but we still had lots of birds on the ground three days before our first shoot but on the shoot day nothing. Only got a third of the expected bag. Went looking for them two days later along rivers hedges and the usual escape routs and found nothing. A few barley fields on the estate uncut didnt hold many birds when checked either.
