Fiddich
Hey guys, Any of you any advice on a browning 325 grade 3. Seen one for sale and looks lovely and is a great fit and in pretty good condition but up for sale for £850. Is that price about right and are they a decent weapon. seen a couple of good reviews somewhere but just wanted your thoughts

V8 90
I have a B325 Grade 2 30" Multi choke I paid £850 for it 2 years ago & they're still selling around that price, so £850 for a grade 3 sounds to be fine. Try it & see how it mounts/feels - your call from there. HTH
Fiddich
Oh had another read and its a trap gun not a sporter. are they a bit heavier?
V8 90
If its actually a Trap Gun it may well be a bit heavier - is the forend quite "Chunky" - there's 1 for sale on BBS (grade 1) advertised as a 30" Trap but its got a sporter forend & it's also a multi choke. Fiddich
Yeah quite chunky, 8lb 8oz. That seems heavy!
V8 90
That's heavy !! If your only clay shooting or shooting from a hide it would be ok - but I wouldn't want to carry it round all day on a shoot.
Fiddich
Yeah thats all i would be doing but be nice to keep options open if i do get to do anything else. Dont want to be lugging it about all day across fields if its to heavy for me
Steveco36
I just picked up a grade 2 B325 Multi Choke, 30" and paid £800, dealer wanted £875, always have a haggle with them! well looked after and came with 1x full choke, 1x half choke and 2x skeet chokes, I have stuck a couple of improved cylinder (1/4) chokes in it and find it spot on for my dodgy shooting, rough and clay!
