pg123 Posted January 26, 2013 Report Share Posted January 26, 2013 Was lucky enough to get a place on a clear up day sold off by a local syndicate to raise funds. 6 drives for 9 guns with an estimated bag of 50 - 80 birds. Cost for the day was £125 including full breakfast, sandwich at lunch and pie & chips in the pub at the end of the day. Also in the price was tips, a couple of bottles of port and a beer kitty afterwards. The birds didn't show in the numbers planned but the heavy snow probably had something to do with that. Total bag at the end of the day was 43 but all involved still had a great day. Best of all I got invited back next season. Me with one of the beaters and a very useful dog called Bramble.
