jimmyb79
Hi all, Has anyone had any experience with the Tracer Lithium Battery, and specifically the 'fuel gauge' feature on it? The reason I ask is that I've been out tonight with my tracer pro and the battery gauge showed full battery. Now, admittedly I haven't charged it for a long time and its had a fair bit of use, but the gauge did show full. However, after a few minutes of use, it just went out, and the battery gauge still showed full so I thought it was broken in some way. Having come back and charged it, its now working fine again, so it was a flat battery but the moral of the story is to definitely pay no attention to the gauge on those batteries! mick miller
I've got a couple of the tiny ones but they don't have any gauge, for what its worth I find them to be an excellent, if pricey, battery.
ging125
They need to be stored on full change always!(as per instructions) if you dont it affects the chemistry inside and wont hold their charge as well. Also if you had the battery inside (warm) and went lampin (cold) it can affect the accuracy of the guage and again the chemisty inside. They are brilliant power packs tho! Hope this helps Edited January 29, 2013 by ging125
