The Essex Hunter
This was our last day in Sible Hedingham and the hardest! A very long walk combined with several double sheep fences made the going very tough….but if it was easy then they would all be doing it lol. One ferret decided to spend most of the morning trying to push out a very stubborn rabbit resulting in several deep digs 4ft plus for me!! Finley she was retrieved and banished to the box…. The farmer and his wife came down with young Gorge who was totally hooked in a matter of seconds after seeing bolting rabbits hitting the net. He had a quick lesson on how too gut and skin a rabbit and was not letting go of his headless rabbit carcass!! A total of 23 with a bonus of 4 fields of spring barley drillings so shoot over when it goes in. Just a quick picture of the remaining rabbits as the rest were in our truck...
