Frenchieboy
I have a hand made fixed blade knife that was very kindly gifted to me which I am very fond of. The blade could do with a new grind putting on it (The blade is a little thick for my liking) and properly resharpening. I do not have a set of Japanees Water Stones or anything like that nor do I have the skills to do as good a job as this knife deserves so I am hoping that there is a member on here that could do a good job on it for me. I would be more than willing to post it and to pay for their time and of course the return postage. Is there any member that works with knives and knows what they are doing who can help me out please?
39TDS
Is your local butcher not up to it?
Frenchieboy
Not really, the blade could do with thinning down a little rather than just sharpening!
