thepasty
I'm down south west on the Lizard Peninsula, hows about you? I was out with my bro over the weekend, plenty of birds about in the wind... just not where we were!

thepasty
sorry, thats great, I've seen the fliers for it at Johns in Glendevon, I need to give the organiser a call and see if they're fine with FAC pumps... whats the trap setup like? casual or more serious feel to it? Hows the shooting Truro way at the moment? Wet and quiet like down here? The ground is drying out fast with the few days of no rain we've had, I hope it stays like that for a while to give the water table a chance to get back to normal. roscoc180
Not sure about FAC pumps, I just turned up on the day with a mate and that was it. Trap set up is quite easy going with a not to serious atmosphere. Not been out much shooting rabbits very scarce at the moment but had a few crows/pigeons in the last few weeks., Spring is on the way. thepasty
I'll grab the details next time I'm in Johns and come for a look see. Spring is indeed on the way, was out with my bro blatting some clays this avo and no coats were required
gixerjas
If you haven't been to Fourlanes yet and sussed it out; most of the people there shoot over and under, a few side by side and a few semi-auto, but pumps are rare because of the double clay traps, unless you're quick cycling a pump action it will probably mean you'll missed the second clay. thepasty
We've got our own trap too, both myself and my bro shoot pumps with no probs on the second clay, by the time you've moved to the next clay you're pumped and ready to shoot.... you get pretty fast if all you shoot is a pump thanks for the heads up tho.
