Bloody Well Done Hants Firearms Licensing

All the recent hype about Hants Firearms Licensing having got their act together has been proved to be true, at least in my case and as far as variations go. My original FAC application took almost 5 months to process and grant, even though I had had a SGC for several years.

I put in a variation for the addition of .243 Centrefire and the removal of a mentoring condition on the .223 Centrefire two weeks ago today, 11 February 2013, and my very satisfactory FAC had been signed on 22/02/2013 and came in the post today, 25/02/2013.

14 days, start to finish.

I do hope this experience is reflected for all Hampshire Shooters new and old.

I am impressed and delighted!

Wonder if they've swapped staff with south yorks,

Personally Handed in a variation 3 weeks ago today "straight forward 1/4/1 for a less calibre .17 to 22rf"

also asked them when they print my fac to make sure there is ink in the printer, as the last time I received it , it came back black and white and a very poor quality print,

At the time I rang them to voice my concerns as it looked like my daughter had drawn it, and i had concerns over it getting accepted as a genuine fac they explained they had ran out of toner but should be getting some in the near future

"What a joke" rather unprofessional in my opinion...

Anyway just been on the phone to them they said

"It should be processed this week all been well ... " that will make it at least 4 weeks...

I need to renew in October I think I'll send it back return post... :) ...
