delburt0 Posted March 1, 2013 Report Share Posted March 1, 2013 Just asked her and she told me it changes the texture and grows back thicker and also alters the colour same as I said I clip mine no more than twice a yr and have never noticed any change in texture or thickness I'm sure if you did them once a month I'd agree its no good... malantone Posted March 4, 2013 Report Share Posted March 4, 2013 My 15yr old springer cross was clipped twice a year down to the skin, I always apologised after doing it, but he was black an white til the day he died and allways had a good thick coat.
