Larsen trap set with eggs and nest as seen below http://i1070.photobucket.com/albums/u482/stuart19852/2EC255C9-1ADD-4C04-A0C4-EA060C46760D-1337-000000C506E8DEA5.jpg However no joy for the last few weeks, what else could I do? Alycidon
As others have said its a bit early, de frosting call birds water is not fun !. In a couple of weeks pop a dead rabbit in the other side. I assume you do have maggies in the area, site the trap about 20 yards away from a large hedge with a crow /magpie nest site that has been used in earlier years. Also put the word round you local keepers asking for a bird when someone gets a spare and offering to supply if you get some spare ones first.
