Lancs Lad
Oh well..............2pm..............they have arrived........... On first inspection would say that they are a little ermmmm.........well, unusual. Head designs need to be worked on, everythings held together with staples. Would prefer some form of "Glue". Head design, I would like to see a sort of T section on the head so that the birds see something more substantial overhead. Some form of "mount" for the poles would be a good idea as the heads are made of courrgated plastic and depending on what way its been cut depends on wether you can mount them or not............. The bodies I think would benefit from some wiring around the air intake section as this will help to "fill" them out a bit. Ive not had them out, because they arrived "late", but will have them out on the field tomorrow............ Will post some pics and hopefuly a full bag report tomorrow............ At least they dont take up "any room" in the bag, they are "light weight"....

Lancs Lad
Well what a **** day....................saw 4 birds.......................and nowt else from 0830 till 1200........ Verdict on the socks........... 1 - they stand out a hell of a lot more than my sportplas shells. And from a distance the patern and colouring looks quite impressive.......The white sections are quite "brighht" 2 - Movement was fairly good with them bobbin around and changing direction with the wind. 3 - Attraction wise,,,,,,,,,,,,well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,with 4 birds in the sky........and they werent for coming in to the pattern Ill have to leave my oppinion open on that one. 4 - THEY DEFINATELY need some form of mounting socket in the head/body to assist with the movement.
