alexl
Can anyone recommend any clubs in the Essex area? I live near Great Dunmow and quite regularly visit the Blackwater area, so this area seems best to me although id try out any within reasonable distance to me. If anyone knows of one that operates a 'mentor' type sceme as im new to shooting and never tried any wildfowling before. Im keen to learn, so has anyone got any recommended litereature on the subject to start with? Thanks Alex

A great little club with a mentoring scheme plus test, summer clay shoots, gundog training events, monthly meetings. There are usually vacancies for probationary members (New). Ther have a number of marshes on both the north and south shores of the Blackwater. http://blackwaterwildfowlers.org.uk/ Edited March 12, 2013 by Penelope
