Shooting2
Hi guys My Jill ferret came into season and so I waited one full week before mating her with my hob on two consecutive days. However I have been reading I should of waited two weeks before mating, is this right? Both days when mating appeared to be success full and so have put Jill back in her own hutch. BUT the jills vulva still hasn't gone down from swelling for mating 3 days after she was mated, should I be concerned or will things be ok. This is my first time mating/breeding ferrets so any help/advice Is much appreciated.
kamikazepigeon
just because you have mated her wont mean she will catch leave her be on her own and if the swelling has not gone down this time next week put her with ur hob again if it does then keep ya fingers crossed keep her well fed with vitamins and high protein foods and keep an eye 4 he teets to develope usually indicating that ur hob has done the deed
