Lord Geordie
Well i went up to the clay club this morning with a mate of mine to get a practice round in before Sunday. Spent the best part of the morning scranning bacon and black pudding sandwiches and dousing myself in Coffee. Anyway after much effort on my part to get my *** out in the cold air i set up on DTL and shot a PATHETIC round Has to be my worst i NEVER shot that bad even when i first started . After much humiliation and another coffee i jumped in the old banger i call a car and set off home. I dropped my mate off at his house and drove down the road to mine and as i was driving into the housing estate (city centre) i saw a Pheasant dawdling up the road without a care in the world. Now normally i would be greatly suprised at this but earlier on in the year i saw one in the front street dashing over the road between the houses so seeing another (or the same one again) wasn't as much of a suprise but it STILL brought a huge smile to my face to see it so far in the city and unscathed Old lady walking her dog was tickled pink watching it and when i talked to her she thought it was someones pet parrot or something that had escaped Does anyone know how far these can fly as i honestly think there is NO way it could have walked into the city without getting hit.
