bigmac1
Hi all, Does anyone have such a thing as a tumbler, obviously for tumbling lead shot or know how to make one. Any condition will do so long as the drum is OK. Thanks all. Malc
sitsinhedges
Use a paint stirrer in a drill with the shot in a bucket. It's just as good as a cement mixer.
Mick Shaw
I made mine using a 5 gal thinners steel drum, 3 wood paddles inside and driven by a wiper motor, mounted on a wooden base rolling between 4off 4" cabinet wheels Mick.

Thanks, Malc Doesn't matter, all you're trying to achieve is to coat your shot with a tiny amount of graphite. Tumbling wont affect any other aspect of it so as long as the shot stays in its drum or bucket you can go as fast as you like.
