webber
Eugine You were right to question 175db. I made a typographical error, it should have read 157db, still bloody loud. I actually worked at Ravenhead Glass, at its peak we made a million or so drinking glasses a week, god knows where they all went. We had some horrendous gas explosions, all caused through people who knew nothing sticking their oar in and making unauthorised adjustments. Shortly after I was made redundant they had another big bang, but this time it caused a major fire, and they lost a complete department. Ravenhead closed a couple of years after being bought by a Belgian glass company. It was asset stripped, and the pension fund looted. 157 years of glass making down the pan. Now only the name lives on. I sometimes wonder if I should have followed all my mates from school, and gone down the pit. At least I could have put a claim in for white finger.
