fenboy
Got a text from a farmer today to say he has got all his peas in this last couple of days. Seems like I have been waiting forever as they around 3-4 weeks late going in this year. The good news is I am going to have 7 fields to choose from this year. Unfortunately for me the drilling has gone in very well with nothing noticeable left on top so I reckon its going to be another two weeks or so before the fields will start to offer some shooting opportunity's On another happy note one of the failed rape fields have been over sown with beans so hopefully that will offer some shooting late autumn.. So all in all happy days are just around the corner !!
The Ghost
Good news Fenboy, it has been a long time coming but I think the next two weeks will drag for you. Had a drive about today and the Fens fields are very busy but not a great deal of pigeon about. I am sure they are not far away, going out again tonight to recon roost sights.
