marc020
hi all,im new here so hope im posting in the right section i have just bought a new huglu 103 de,im very happy with it ,it looks and feels great, iv only had a chance to shoot a few clays with it so far due to work commitments but am in need of some advice for a small problem with it after shooting 2 shots i open the gun to eject cartridges but whats happening is the top barrel is ejecting but bottom isnt, it looks as if the cartridge is being jammed in and wont eject,a cupple of times iv managed to get a knife under the rim and they popped out but the last time it happened i had to get a cleaning rod and poke it out from the muzzle end. the cartridges are fob viper 28g 7.5,fibre,70mm casings.the brass (hull ?) looks not to be sat square on to the casing im wondering if this could be something to do with it. i have also a baikal o/u and they are fine in this gun. the rims seem to be quite small and narrow ,i have tried a few other types of cartridges ie,hull comp x,eley olympics, and sovereigns, all seem to work ok,they have slightly bigger rims so would it be down to the cartridge or the gun, should i take it back to be sorted where i bought it from, when it first happened a few nice blokes behind me waiting at the stand tried to help me get it out and even offered me a gun to finish my round,1 said it happened to him when his gun was new and it sorted itself out over time wearing in thanks all
TrapFiller
More than likely the cartridge. If your not dead set on using your current ones switch and forget about them.
HDAV
Tricky one it could be the carts or a poorly machined ejector, getting it sorted could be simple or mean you are left without your gun for weeks or months while its sorted... I would contact the retailer and see what they say.

Shooting2
I have the same gun and it did this for about a month, every now and then when I first got it. However I was using long brass 50g carts through, so changed the cartridges and all was fine and still is. The carts I was using where hull solway magnum, but I have never had a problem with any other carts.
