VINCED 686
I was talking to a mate about this the other day......this is second hand information so if i'm wrong anyone......Please correct me. When the potatoes are harvested and the waste is left on the top before the soil is turned over. Apparently the pigeons go mad for it. My mate told me its one of the best days he has had. He said they they just kept coming in. So good luck you should have a great day.

karpman
After they have been harvested and the waste, generally small spuds can produce some proper shooting and a cracking alternative to rape. They alsmost turn to a white powder after a couple of frost on them. Karpman
top shot
The harvest is great for pigeons and great for rabbit in between

Karpman yup spot on shot plenty of them over spuds during and after harvesting dont expect big bags tho jus a few dead birds on sticks\skewers and a pocket full off catridges is all u need sometimes its good to go out with minimum gear so u can move around i dont bother with a net either just a mask and get down between the drills and sit still great craic, alot of my permission are big fields mixed with standing crops\potaoe field so i sometimes set my decoys uy on d harvested spuds for visibility
