Frank
John, first off, get your self a bore guied, to guied the rod threw the bore when cleaning. Then, a Parker Hale, plastic coated cleaning rod is hard to beet. Brass loop to fit the rod, where you can put a partch threw is handy aswell. You will also need a bronze brush, for your caliber, again, PH do a good one to fit your rod and patches to fit. Other alternatives are, Tipton carbon cleaning rods and brass jags and loops, with bronze brush and Kleenbore patches, these give a tight fit and clean the bore well. Both the rods i mentioned, are one peice, this is VERY inportant. So is a bore guied. As for solvents, Forest Bore foam, Hoppes bench rest copper remover, are good, their is 100s on the market, but i stick with these, causes less confusion. M-pro7, do an excellent range of cleaning products too, i use these aswell, very good. When cleaning your rifle, after breaking it in, never mix these products together. Not good. Swab out all remains of solvent and dry, before using other solvents, with KG 3, solvent and grease remover, you will find it on the net, another great product. Any questiond, just ask John, as centerfire rifle cleaning, is very important for accurate shooting John. Frank.
EoinGalway
Nice looking Rifle... Can't go wrong with Tikka! Remember 1in8 twist will like the 55gr plus rounds better, especially for 150-200 yards shots. Your going for the Nightforce scope? Which one? Are you going to thread it for a suppressor ? (remember on this side of the pond it will cause issues with shooting on some ranges! )
