Wiganer1988
Could some one please give me some advice regarding the minimum size for a male harris hawk mews. The bird would be being weatherd in a aviary in the garden during the day. The mews would just be its night quarters I'm struggling to find this information as most of it online is including some space for free lofting and the minimum seems to be 6 x 6 Regards

stubby
I was told that sleeping mews need to be a minimum of one and a half times its wingspan, or as large as you can make it but if your using an aviary in daytime, why do you feel the need to move it to a sleeping quarters

Wiganer1988
The mews would be in a lot more secure position In a garage that's the only reason.
Goss hawker
Personally I'd go with Wing span plus a foot either side plus the leash length.has long has your garage is dark the bird shouldn't bait to much so should be abale to keep it on a short leash
