claycrasher
Hi folks, Hi Have had this break barrel .177 rifle for about 40 years and never realised its true potential. The scope is new so forget about that, but does anyone know the maker of the rifle and what pellet types would be good for different targets and uses, i.e. small vermin etc. The only markings are FORIEN and the serial number. Any info would be useful.
Livefast123
Looks very much like a Gamo Expo stock, trigger and action. I have a blank firer that is stamped Foreign and I can't find anything on it. Edited May 9, 2013 by Livefast123
kenj
This Rifle looks very similar to my CZ Relum ZII .177, which when I bought it in 1962 came with an option of stocks and barrel size for the price of £7:19s:6d from the local hardware shop. I saved my apprentice wages to buy the .22 version, but they only had .177 left and didn't know when they would get any more. This rifle was and still is very accurate. I fitted a new British spring 30 years ago and using Accupel flatheads use it on the usual farm yard pests, rats and pigeons to great effect. There is a picture here of the rifle. http://www.urbanfieldsportsman.com/index.php/the-rifles-cz-relum-177-springer/

jackinbox99
What sort of cost are we looking at goodo ? £20->£30 2nd hand, £40->£50 new, you`ll need a slip on one really unless you buy a slip-on-threaded-adapter which costs about £8. Only problem being, i find on springers, the action makes a lot of noise compared to a pcp.
