pavman
Coupe no offence mate but dont expect a land slide of free offers, its always a good idea to join a local shooting club and meet new friends, get involved and offer to help in some way, check out the basc website and contact your local rep, they can assist in putting you in touch with clubs etc open to new members, they have a find shooting section that should help good luck

Game syndicate is more than happy for my to clear the vermin up but don't wan to write letter ect plus it is a 4 hour round trip. Been door knocking up and down most local farms already have some one or just don't want.( one won't have any vermin kill because his wife likes to see them!( rabbits and foxes)) and the rifle club i have joined seem more intrested in target only and african bit game!!!!. but it keeps the eye in Even played my trump card( my day job i'm a environmental consultant) and help a farmer out of a very sticky situation with the local council. and it got me my one plot. Got asked by another farmer to help but he would not let me on his land.... helpped him anyway. but still nothing else has come of it... so i have been trying and before any one ask i'm not a tree hugger
rocksaplenty
it's a bit like pulling birds. -- if you are too desperate you get no where. A mate of mine doesn't accept refusal and keeps going back every 3 months or so, eventually they get used to him and give in and he can only speak a few words of english (he's Spanish). Keep at it - you'll get there
