ging125
To cut a long story short, I have had to return a gun and apply for a one for one varitation for my 223rem. I have the option of a very little used remington 700 vt with aluminium bedding in stock etc or a brand new howa 1500 heavy barrel with hogue stock, both have the same twist rate I have a HOWA 1500 in 243win already and love it. But not sure what I should go for! The remington will shoot 2.5inch at 300yds so accurate gun. Vs the brand new howa which I know are accurate and value for money. I need help making my mind up, so, what would you go for?
Dekers
What do you want to do with it? You need to get what YOU want, NEITHER of these work for me simply because I like LIGHT rifles for field use. I'm sure either will be fine for you, both are decent guns, I'm happy with my Remington 700 and Tikkas!
ging125
Cheers for the reply! It's for long range vermin (my main foxing gun) out to 300yd or so and "zeroing" won't b carrying it too much in a hide for this gun!
Livefast123
I have a Howa .223 and absolutly love it although I would try and get it with a better stock than the Hogue as sometimes it can be a bit flexible.
