Mr Majyk
Right ive known for a long time that putting down seed for the purpose of baiting in pigeons to be shot on a field is illegal (at least im pretty damn sure it is ) but what about baiting crows/corvids in general, i.e. can i set out a dead rabbit with his guts on display do bring in corvids to be shot on the ground with a rifle? heres another situation, the crows are causing chaos on one of my permissions, on said permission is one field full of deer, every day my landowner lays out grain to feed the fore mentioned deer, once the deer have had there fill and cleared off ive noticed the local corvid population turns up to clear up what theyve left over. is it alright for me to shoot the little s**** whilst theyre on the deck? because theyre driving me up the damn wall and ive finally found the right place and time to nail the little **** but im not sure if its legal? clarification anyone? and just adding this as an afterthought of a question: back in the day they used to nail dead crows to posts to keep other crows away, has this practise been made illegal? or is it just frowned upon? stubby
perfectly ok for you to shoot those crows were they nailed up to keep crows away, or to show farmer, I suppose if theirs no public paths nearby, and the landowner dont mind, its your call, no laws to say you must put in bin
