turbo33
I need to drop 1.58grms,(24.38 grains) of A1 through my mec 600jr. Can anyone give me a definitive answer from experience?. The guide I have is No. 38? Thanks T33
Guest cookoff013
you need to use a scale. the manufacturers of bushings and powder will not commit anything in writing unless it has been altered or reduced. i suggest you buy a scale, and ignore what the manufacturers say you should get. i have 3 mec charts one old, new, and a european version. none of them are even close. one is out by 1 bushing, the other is out by 1 grain, and the other is just a publication from another manufacturer. Guest cookoff013
also, i bought some "2nd hand" bushings and a bar. both had been drilled out. a 7/8oz bar was nearly a full ounce ! the powder bushing had been reemed out at one point in its life. it wasnt straight. Paladin
Invest in a tapered reamer and an engraving tool, that way you can customize some bushings to suit your powder. I made some for my Hornady out of stock alloy bar off the bay and engraved powder and drop on them. Just a thought. atb.
