  1. Hi If you have a tapered reamer, you could remove a bit at a time until you have the drop you need. Then mark your bush with the drop, so as not to mix bushes..
  2. Private or Business? I know that some use Thomas Higgins with success. Google them they can send a letter before action that may help. For next to nothing, £2.00 + vat.
  3. Yep I can see you have to be logged in to have access via that link. If you go onto their forum scroll down to Help & Ideas select Hints and tips - DIY projects you'll see a Sticky : Fancy Making Your Own Silencer Page 20 shows My pics on how I made mine. Hope this helps.
  4. I made a few some years back with the minimal amount of tools, i.e. hacksaw, file, dril and locktite. My method can be found on Uk Chinese Airgun Forum. Under "Fancy making your own silencer". Page 20 Scroll down this link. http://ukchineseairgunforum.myfreeforum.org/ftopic4418-0-asc-190.php
  5. I left my skirting intact by placing a sheet of ply on top of it and sandwiching it between the cupboard and the wall. Longer bolts can then go through the back and into the wall, and through the base and into the floor. No damage, important if you live in rented accommodation.
  6. There must be external clues to what's going on in the loading, they must be dipping at the crimp. A couple of things could be happening, the wads are tilting as they are being fed in the machine and being crushed into the case or are double cut i.e. crescent shaped and shot can drop down the side, but this should be picked up by the shot column sensor any variation in the height of the column will stop the machine. If they are dipping then the finished case/crimp sensor should stop the machine. Failing that then the case diameter gauge should stop it for a tilted wad so the operator can remove any substandard load. I take it that someone has retrieved a wad to see that it's been burnt. Wads can become 'friction' burnt in the manufacture, if the cutters become 'dull' and are forced through the cutting cycle. If they have any left ask if the crimp is dipping badly.
  7. Stevo you missed out the 'harvesting' of 'body parts' another source of income.
  8. Mungler. 1,400 mph It should have been an 'Oi get orf my laaand' no need for both barrels up the rear.
  9. We were going down that road, constant visits to the Vet's and looking like an opp. Until the Vet went on holiday and we visited the stand in Vet. No problem with him she said, just his diet. Put him on 'dry' food with a little hot water in the mix. Job done.
  10. Was there 21 teeth on yours? Old part No. 41201044040 superseded by 41201044305 about 12 euro just under a tenner + postage The tank is cheap enough though.
  11. What are the parts that you need?
  12. There's not much there to go wrong or get bent. What was it that you were after? Have you tried the P50 forum or Facebook Page?
  13. I would go with a Jawa about mid fifties probably a 500cc OHC with that full width hub. No springs under that seat, as they are under the tank. You could probably make something different out of it.
  14. Tom have you thought of joining a 'Property Investors Network' meeting? There's one at The Mecure, A41 Watford Bypass Thursday the 10th at 6pm. Pick someones brain that's been there done that, wore the T shirt, and wrote the book. You don't have to have a big bank account to be 'in property' Some make hundreds+ a month by 'Rent to Rent'!
  15. And we still pay this multi millionaire over a million pounds a year for his security, and he retains his PM wage.
  16. I've often wondered how many private gym's survived here in Birmingham when the Council offered Free Passes to anyone that had a Council Tax Bill some 300,000 people took up the offer to 'Be Active' (including my Mrs. She used Alexander Stadium)
  17. Any how. Well done to the British guy that most reports seem to not mention. Well done Chris Norman on helping to subdue that armed guy, you deserve that medal.
  18. I've made wad cutters for BSN Loading machines, mainly with a rotary dial feed, and it looks as if there may have been some sort of obstruction. If that happens and the dial feed fails to rotate there's the chance of the punches coming in contact with the dial and being knocked 'up' in the punch clamp. This then becomes a fault of the operator in not checking depth of the wad cut when restarting the machine. I'd get in touch with the manufacturer. Those wads are cut 'short'!
  19. "Gerr owt the orse road" Unless there were some 'droppings' Then it would be "Quick shovel em up and put em round the roses" Gone but not forgotten. x
  20. Bought a massive camo net for a 'Tank' that I cut up and shared. Found a load of alloy dies that fitted my Pacific loader most the same number but will open up with a tapered reamer. Found a couple of Lee Loaders and passed them on. Went to one in Stafford and picked up several deeks and the old guy said he had some 'stuff' in the back of his truck it turned out to be a bag of mixed cartridges, about half price! Loads of gun slips and air rifles over the years. Happy Sundays.
  21. Food for thought. http://www.canadawood.co.uk
  22. I don't think the lead recycling ever got off the ground, it was UK registered and was dormant for years. The only components Eley Hawk make are the 1/2" Kleena Wads and some lead shot. They're just a small loading company under the control of Maxam Outdoors.
  23. Eley haven't made a cartridge case for donkeys years they buy in from other manufactures and load. The star heads were used to load for other shooting grounds, estates etc.
  24. All they need to do now is make a good fibre wad to go with it.
  25. Yep I can see it now. ...."a well priced pigeon load" That's what threw me.
