b16jus
I need a litte help with the right way to help a friend shoot a shotgun He is used to rifles so all new Obvously i will go through safety and hold first but need to discribe how to look down the barrels Im thinking of bluetack a £1 coin in front at the start of the barrels and saying about seeing a little rib before and after and shoot with the bird slightly on top of the bead Do you think this is the best way as he will be shooting high so can afford to still see the bird or can you think of any better thanks all
Gordon R
Many people advocate the £1, but I can't agree. Forget the coin. When he looks down the barrel, he should see very little or no rib - otherwise the gun will shoot high.

Churchill
See how the gun fits your friend first. 1, Make sure its unloaded. 2. Stand 6 feet in front of your mate and get him to aim at your master eye. As said above if it fits you should see little/no rib, the rib should be in line with the eye. I see no rib on my sporter. If your friend see's a lot of rib then go and shoot some trap.
