Afternoon all,

I've got a Jack Russell will be five in December and I desperately want to get a pup from him but I dont know of any bitches around my local area and was wondering if any of you have had this problem when you have found and trained a great loving companion and really wanted to carry on the strain and could offer any advice that has worked for you ? Or any tips about finding someone with a bitch ?

Thanks in advance as always.

I've got two but its a bit far to send yours for a dirty weekend!

Ours are sisters and we've thought a lot about breeding from them as the temperaments are great but we haven't the time to look after pups, they also get on very well which can change when one has pups. Your dog should still be capable for a few years but if you really want pups from him might be worth advertising him locally as a stud dog.

thanks for the reply. I have considered the advertising thing but i'm not sure what publication to advertise in or if i was successfull try to avoid any 'dodgy' interest....Also my dog is I htink what the call a 'puddin' jack russell in that he doesnt conform to KC (i prefer the look and temprement of this strain) regulations but I suppose would say that if i advertise...... :stupid:
