naddan28
Hi guys (just a duplication of my thread in tips forum, as not sure most appropriate place to put it), I have just got my first air rifle BSA lightning .22 with scope and have permission to shoot on a farmer's land. He seems to think i wont have much success due to lack of power but i was hoping to prove him wrong eventually. I wont go straight to shooting live quarry i am going to ensure my groupings at 30yds are 1" or so before i aim at any quarry! So i wondered whether you guys have any wisedom you could impart upon me for shooting corvids, pigeons and rabbits with a .22 air rifle? Thanks guys, all help is greatly appreciated! stubby
aint we already said all that in the other posts go to ya shoot, punch some paper at 30yds, get ya grouping spot on, so you can hit 5 out of 5 start stalking rabbits, the pigeon and corvids will be long gone on your first few attempts, thats when you can start using deeks to draw them in, but you aint got that much gear at the mo, so you say, so be content and go for rabbits, or feral pigeons in the barns (dont eat these) hands on is the best experience

For example i dont think i will be able to "walk up" rabbits Sorry guys i have just realised that someone moved the thread into this section
