eccles
Just been out for a hour, went to a farm down the road. Took the HMR not been out with it for a good while. Parked up about 10 in first paddock not safe to shoot them.Walked up the track to the first hill a few rabbits both side of track to many sheep to shoot safely. Walk just a bit further to a bank with a good lot of rabbit holes. Could see a few among the thistles so had a smoke first. About 8 or so rabbits sunbathing popped off 3 then they went to ground. Another 2 came out after a while big mistake 2 more down. By gum it was hot even under a tree in the shade left bunnies there for the foxes and home, now ready for my afternoon kip. Mrs said a mate had rung said rabbits want shooting on his farm, now they have cut silage they can see them.

eccles
Yes bud the ranger is awesome to shoot thats why the HMR ain't been out much. The Hmr's great if you ain't got to pick up the dead rabbits just sit on a bank and pop away. The 223 does get out a bit had a nice fox other evening. Don't shoot a lot of foxes as i used to bad back so i wait for the phone to ring then they can get their cash out. atb Terry
